COVID-19

PLEASE READ the following information in regards to COVID-19. Kilnit remains open, however we have implemented social distancing practices and have made changes to our system and services to provide safety during the pandemic.

How has Kilnit adapted in response to COVID-19?

Pick up/Drop off Locations:
To limit person to person contact, we now have a pick up and drop off service downstairs in the undercover car park.
Drop off your work to be fired on the blue shelves with your name, number and date clearly labelled.
Pick up any work that has come out of the kiln in the lockers to the right of the shelves. Please organise unpacking time with Kil.n.it via emailing hello@kil-n-it.com or your works will be placed in the pickup lockers. Works can be picked up 2 days after firing after 4pm. Friday bookings will be ready Monday after 4pm.

Workshop: Please enter via the internal stair case closest to the workshop
Kilnit has reduced the workshop capacity to ONE PERSON. You can still book online as usual. Booking the workshop also now gives you full access to the glaze kitchen. This means if you wish to book the glaze kitchen you must take the whole workshop booking, whether you chose to use that space or not.
While using the workshop and/or glaze kitchen, PLEASE DO NOT WALK PAST THE CONE ONTO THE VERANDAH. We want to keep the verandah clear for proper social distancing for artists and staff.
While using the workshop and/or glaze kitchen, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE OFFICE. Unfortunately we have had to close off this section of Kilnit to staff only. This excludes the Bathroom.

Social Distancing:
Kilnit is practicing strict social distancing. We have limited space along the verandah, so we have created separate entries for members of the public and the artists and staff.
Anyone booked into the workshop, coming to pick up or drop off work MUST use the secondary back stairs to enter Kilnit.

Making payments, collecting clay, or speaking to staff:
Pre-purchased clay will be left for you downstairs, as per the guidance of Kilnit Staff (in our clay collection locker),
If you need to make a payment in person, contact Kilnit to meet you downstairs.
Staff are always happy to chat and help with any questions you need, so please do not hesitate to call out for us or knock on the office door and we can help you while still practicing social distancing!

Thank you for abiding by Kilnit's new guidelines as we strive to provide a safe place for people to continue their art practice.
Stay safe and keep making!
