Drop off and Collection

Kilnit has a new drop off and collection system! Here is how it works.

In response to Covid 19, Kilnit has had to make some alterations to the way we work. In order to keep staff, artists and our community safe, please help us by following all the guidelines we have put in place.

When dropping off your work, please make sure you have your work at Kilnit by at least 11am on the day of your booked firing. It does not have to be on the day of the firing you can bring it in earlier. You can drop off your work days in advance at any time of day as our drop off shelves are open 24/7. please see image below for shelve reference.

You can place your work on the blue shelves in the undercover car park. Please use the provided boards, masking tape and permanent markers to clearly label your work with the following:
- Your full name
- Your phone number
- The date you have booked for your firing
-Please also take a photo of all your pieces in the drop off location (this is to 1 help you remember for collection & 2 to help us find all your pieces for the firing if we need). Thank you

When your work is fired, it will be placed in lockers to the left of the shelves. Please collect your work as soon as possible, so we do not have a build up of abandoned work. If you do not collect your work within the month, unless otherwise organised with us, unfortunately we will have to throw it out or donate it to our 'adopt a pot' shelves.
You can collect your work after 2pm, 2 days after your booked firing. (test kiln only takes one day so collection is the following day at 2pm unless booked on Friday this will be Monday collectio)

Here is the collection schedule: Please note you will need to know the firing schedule -on our firing service page to know when your pieces will go in.

Fire Monday Big Whole Kiln - collect Wednesday
Fire Tuesday Midi Whole Kiln - collect Thursday
Fire Wednesday Communal Bisque (1st firing essential before 2nd firing - Glaze) - collect Friday
Fire Thursday Midi Whole Kiln - collect Monday
Fire Friday Communal Stoneware -1280 degrees celsius - collect Monday

As we are open 24/7, feel free to collect at any time that suits you after your collection day.

Kilnit is adhering to the social distancing guidelines. If possible, please do not enter the upstairs section of Kilnit as we are trying to keep numbers to a minimum, If you need assistance and can't see Joseph or Ella (Kil.n.it staff), feel free to call us on:
